It’s Official! Pantone announced that “Peach Fuzz” is the colour of the year for 2024. While it may sound like a beauty trend involving a razor - it’s not. But… will likely find its way into your home or on you!

In nail and essence Pantone Colour Insitute has been around since the 1950’s and originally opened as a commercial printing company, fast forward to 2000’s where they stared holding secret meetings twice a year held in Europe’s capital with representatives from various nations' color standards groups. There’s presentations and debates, then after what I could only imagine to be 2 grueling days, they choose a color for the following year. So, when you see yourself eyeballing a sweater in a with soft peach tones, noticing the new Kitchen Aid (which frankly looks rose gold to me) or admiring your girlfriends new manicure using 155 - Jackie, it no coincidence.

If "Peach Fuzz" becomes the go-to color for the year, we can expect to see it popping up in various products and design elements, bringing a warm and trendy touch to our surroundings. It's always interesting to observe how these color choices reflect and sometimes influence the cultural and design landscape.
